Accommodation
Main Lodge
The main lodge area boasts a beautiful panoramic view of the mighty Zambezi River, the Zambian escarpment to the north, and Mozambique mountains in the distance to the east.
It consists of a large dining room where guests enjoy meals prepared by our experienced chef. Adjoining the dining room is a spacious living area where guests can cosy up with a book, comfortably sit whilst preparing their rods for an exciting day of fishing, or simply relax and listen to the birds and hippos as they enjoy a truly off-the-grid holiday.
Adjacent to the living and dining rooms is a stunning bar, pool, and entertainment area. This is perhaps the most frequented area for our guests as there is nothing better than sitting down with a cold G&T while taking in the breathtaking vista surrounding them. Or cool off in the pool after a long, “hard” day of fishing in the Mupata Gorge.
There is a fire pit to relax by in the evenings whilst observing the magnificent night sky, looking for nocturnal animals, or simply telling big tales of the day’s fishing. The fire pit is also the best place to sit with your morning coffee as the sun rises over the Mozambique mountains.
